I think everyone should buy their clothes at Walmart..But then again, I'm biased..see my profile..As far as his comments about physical appearance, maybe he should read this.
Mat 7:1 "Do not judge so that you will not be judged.
Mat 7:2 "For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.
Mat 7:3 "Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
Mat 7:4 "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye?
Mat 7:5 "You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.glennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07449972470005059129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7871630210368302281.post-24191840912043299862007-05-16T17:26:00.000-05:002007-05-16T17:26:00.000-05:00Barbie, That email I s...Barbie, That email I sent about the jar and 2cups of coffee seemed like a good time. Being a ...Barbie, I am so sorry that guy said that. Being a "big girl" myself, I know what it feels like to be ridiculed. Just a couple of weeks ago, someone made a very rude comment about me just out of left field-the comment made me think about my grade schools days and the comments I had to endure. I'm a singer, and even though I appreciate the compliments I get from others, the negative comments will bother me for days.
If "Mike Mullen" from Chicago doesn't like the way you look, maybe he needs to go to another channel to watch the weather forecast. I can't believe someone could be so cruel! (Well, I actually can believe it because there are certainly a lot of thoughtless people, but still!) I don't care how you look on TV! (Which is drop-dead gorgeous by the way!) He had no business saying that. Those are just the lies Satan would have us believe, the lies I try to counter with truth to my two daughters. His lies? Materialism and outward appearances are everything and character means nothing. I buy my clothes at Wal-mart and I'm a daughter of the King of kings! You just hold your head up high. Revelation 12:10 calls Satan the accuser of the brethren. Don't listen to him! You just keep shining for Jesus. (Maybe the light is just too bright for some people.)Drewe Llynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00916909818444432655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7871630210368302281.post-75225473460511035982007-05-16T09:22:00.000-05:002007-05-16T09:22:00.000-05:00Barbie,I am so sorry that there are so many cruel ...Barbie,
I am so sorry that there are so many cruel people in this world. Please don't let it get you down. You are absolutely beautiful...on the inside and out. I know I certainly have days like this where I feel like quitting as well. In fact, I just went through this earlier this week. I help direct the Preschool Dept. at my church (strictly volunteer position) and I spend a great deal of time coordinating events for the department for the sake of the children. Satan has been trying to bring down our department lately with a bad apple and it has caused hurt feelings all around. I discovered this week that "this apple" complained about the last event that I planned and said that she heard that some people were complaining about it. It's odd since everyone I talked to said that the event was great and that their kids had a great time. Regardless, it hurt my feelings and made me think, "Why even bother?" But, you know what? I didn't plan that event for that person..I planned it for those kids. If those kids had a great time, that's all that matters. Barbie, you are a lovely person who does her job very well while also sharing the Gospel with others. That's all that matters. Keep up the good work!Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00077545502455383383noreply@blogger.com
