There are yesterday people, today people and tomorrow people.
In John 8, we read about the woman who was caught in adultery. The Pharisees brought her to Jesus. Verse 3 says, "They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” After Jesus made His point to the Pharisees and they left, he told her in verse 11, "Go now and leave your life of sin."
The Pharisees saw her past, but Jesus saw her future. Do you have anyone in your life who resemble them? The enemy would rather discuss your past than your future. But God said in Isaiah 42:19, "Behold, I am doing a new thing." God didn't say he was doing a renewed thing or an old thing, but a new thing.
God is getting ready to do something powerful in your life. Don't let yesterday people hold you into tomorrow.
