I'm Back!

I had to take some time off this week because we got new hardwood floors put down in our home. Due to the time it took to get the furniture in, the work done, and the furniture moved back in, we were going to be displaced for several days. So I took the children and drove to stay with my parents in Marks and had a nice visit. The children watched as my dad saned catfish (that's just another word for "harvesting" the fish) and Gracie got to pet a catfish before he headed off to processor-land, we watched the crop duster airplanes make diving runs on the farm, and they played outside until their hearts were content. It was good to have a quiet break from work, but wouldn't you know, when I returned to work last night...the viewers were waiting with their emails and phone calls.

Barbie, You are beautiful when you are pregnant. But the blouse that you are wearing today is awful. It makes you look like you are wearing a MOO MOO. Please don't wear something like this again. Signed, Dana Holbrook

Barbie, PLEASE go to the house. You look like you're going to EXPLODE on tv! Signed, Anonymous

You have gained too much weight to be on tv. It just doesn't look good anymore. Time for you to quit. Spare us. Signed, Anonymous

"Welcome back" would've been nice. For some strange reason, I miss the farm again....

I think these emails are triggered by pure jealousy. Some folks are jealous that even while pregnant---you are absolutely radiant!

welcome back.

not that it matters too much, but we missed you! especially mary peyton. the news would come on, she would echo her usual, "watch, mommy, here comes barbie!" and then come to me and say, "where's my barbie?".

and by the way - you look great.

Wow ... too big to be on tv. That's a new one. Don't you love how those are the anonymous people?

Whatever happened to our grandmother's telling us "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all"?! These people obviously never listened to their grandmothers.

Crossing my fingers that you get to stay home & rest with your little ones soon!!

I was taught if you did not have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. Some people obviously did not learn that or you would not have rude emails like that. You are beautiful! Take care.

I guess it really doesn't matter where you go these days there are going to be those who choose to voice their opinions and pick your shade tree, be careful when casting stones for your glass house could shatter so easily.

Much happiness for you and your family.
